Paul's Update - 12/14/05

Dear Friends:

Today was a pretty quiet day. We never saw the therapist today but Paul continues to improve slowly. He is starting to respond a little quicker when you ask him to squeeze your hand. He is also practicing to be able to open his hand on command. Now that Paul is in the intermediate care unit we are able to stay with him for longer times in the day. Dad & Tabby work with him regularly. Tabby & Bobby brought movies for Paul's portable DVD player so he can have shows running that he would enjoy. Wednesday will be another surgery day. The neurosurgeon will be putting back his bone flap. It will be late in the day. We pray that this will encourage more healing. Surgery is tough for Paul so we pray that he will not have many adverse effects from it. Our God has been so good and has protected Paul throughout this process. We are also grateful for you.....our friends & family that have prayed and stood waiting with us. I can't imagine how some people go through tough times without the support of people they love. Thank you....we LOVE you!

Blessings, Lynne & Carl
