Paul's Update - 11/02/06
Dear Friends:
The last two days have been adjustments to the change in medicines. So far Paul is adjusting well to the changes and we aren't seeing any adverse affects from it. He continues to try to use the right hand and his walking is about the same. Wednesday was a pretty quiet day. Although we added a new family member to the household. Tabby got a new puppy!! Someone was going by the house with a wagon full of puppies and she decided she wanted one. He is very cute ... he's a mix of Jack Russell Terrier & Pomeranian. At least he will be a small dog. She narrowed the name down to two names and Paul got to pick the name from a hat! The decision was "Ozzie". He has a little bed and a crate to sleep in at night. He is pretty quiet and sleeps a lot still. He has been going outside every two hours to do his business ... so far so good!! Paul likes the puppy. He holds it and pets it. He is actually very gentle with it but when the puppy went to grab the drawstring on his pants he gave Ozzie a mad look!! LOL I think the "dog therapy" will be good for Paul! Wednesday was a quiet day ... mostly watching movies. Dad & Tabby were not successful getting Paul to do much work today. They tried to get him to use the walker to stand up by the bed but he refused to do that. Tabby tried to get him to do some sit-ups ... she even leaned over him and said he could come up to kiss her ... but he wasn't interested in doing sit-ups for any reason!! Dad stayed at Paul's house for the last two nights but was able to come home tonight. Tabby made it an early night so Dad also had a chance to come home early.
Have a great day! TGIF Lynne & Carl
