Paul's Update - 11/14/06

Dear Friends:

Dad went over this morning to let the nurse in and then headed back home. He worked on the kitchen all day. Tabby worked some more on speech today. She was getting him to say "eee" and "aayy", she tried to get him to say Mom. He was close but still needs to work on it some more. What a nice blessing it would be to hear him say "Mom". I miss hearing that! She worked with the hand movements again. He is getting pretty good but isn't always consistent with what she asks him to do. She doesn't give up on him ... she works until he gets it right! Tabby got a call from the contractor that she is working with to get her yard fenced. She wants it fenced from the front corner of the house around to the back of the property. Since they live on a corner of a busy street this will be necessary to keep Max and the puppy safe when they are out in the yard!! The zoning approval is done and the fence should be in before Thanksgiving. Still no word from the doctor's office. We are hoping to hear something by tomorrow. Dad & I will be gone part of the day on Wednesday to go to court. We are witnesses to an accident that happened in front of our home a couple of months ago. It is possible we will be doing a medicine reduction by Wednesday night if we hear back from the doctor. Please continue to pray for Paul as we prepare for another change.

Have a great day! Lynne & Carl
