Paul's Update - 11/23/06

Dear Friends:

Wednesday was another day without Dad for Tabby & Paul. Thank goodness that Dora is a faithful nurse. Dad spent the day working on the kitchen with John. I was sick all day and evidently so was Jimmy. They made lots of progress and soon I will have a fully functional kitchen. Thanksgiving day was a busy day for all. Dad got to Paul's early ... and WITH Starbucks ... (we were afraid they would be closed). Dad stayed at Paul's while Tabby went to Carolyn's to prepare "Tom" ... the great big Turkey we were going to partake of. We all went to Carolyn & Billy's for dinner. We had seventeen people for dinner. Paul walked (with Dad's assistance) to the front door and up the one step into the house. He did really good. He was able to sit in the living room and watch the football game with Billy's dad, Jim and the rest of the family. Tabby's parents and her grandmother came. It was really nice to have all of our family together. Max had two grandmothers, two grandfathers, and two great grandmothers in the house. It was a great celebration of family and we certainly have lots to be thankful for this year. In the midst of all the difficulties we have had ... God has blessed us in so many ways. We are certainly grateful for you ... our friends and loved ones who have been by our side throughout all of this year. God bless....

Love and Hugs, Lynne & Carl
