Paul's Update - 12/17/06

Dear Friends:

Dad went to Paul's early as usual. Tabby was still sleeping. Her cold has really gotten her down and she is getting as much rest as possible. Dad let the nurse in and came home to go out to breakfast. Paul was able to come upstairs today to watch the Redskins game. Gladys really didn't have much to do this afternoon since Paul was upstairs with all of us. She was available to help when Paul needed to go to the bathroom but otherwise she stayed downstairs and watched a movie. I'm sure she was missing Max a bunch too!! Tonight Paul went to the Christmas program at church. He was feeling good and enjoyed the program. He stayed after and went to the social hall for cookies & punch. He really didn't want anything to eat and he was ready to head home soon after that. All of my children were there tonight except Billy (who was working) and Tabby since she was at home in bed. It was nice to have Jen with Bobby tonight!! Alysa got to see Santa tonight too ... he made a stop by the church with one of his elves!! The kids really enjoyed that ... the little ones and the big (adult) ones too. LOL
